Agreements marked by a “ are guaranteed welcome agreements. Please note that admission to university is guaranteed and not necessarily for all of the university`s programs of study, as some programs have additional admission requirements. The simplest explanation is that an articulation agreement is a binding agreement between two institutions that guarantees a successful transfer to the institution of four years. The agreements define the courses and grades that will be transferred to the four-year institution to ensure that students can better plan their training work to meet their future educational programs. Most of our articulation agreements guarantee students direct admission to the higher education institutions/universities listed below, provided the student has obtained the Associate Arts Diploma (AA) or Associate Science Diploma (AS) at the GMC. The attached document establishes a delegation agreement between another institution and the University of Georgia for admission to a particular course. Let`s set up a scenario in which your goal is to get admission to a four-year institution to get your licence; However, you were not accepted into your program because you did not meet the minimum licensing standards. As an alternative, you can visit one of our many campuses or online programs for your first two years of study (at a significantly reduced price!) and then move on to the four-year facility of your choice as a junior to complete your studies. Our articulation agreements ensure that most, if not all, of your GMC courses will be transferred smoothly to the next institution and will be charged on obtaining your license. GMC already has a lot of articulation agreements, and we add more each year. The institutions highlighted in red provided links to their institution`s website. Click on the link to access additional information on transfer and admission requirements. A number of additional courses from Athens Technical College transferred to the University of Georgia. You can find them on the UGA website. The Technical College of Athens also has an articulation agreement with the UGA College of Environment and Design, which is described in the college catalogue under the TCC landscape design. The following universities or systems have articulation agreements with members of the Technical College System of Georgia, including the Georgia Technical College, which is regionally accredited by the Commission of Universities of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS): The Athens Technical College also has local articulation agreements with Piedmont College, Emmanuel College and Macon State College. At Georgia Military College, one of our core tasks is to create pathways for the successful transmission of our courses and courses in a four-year institution. Our SACSCOC accreditation ensures that many of the courses you take at GMC have moved into the four-year program of your choice (see course credit transfer information).
In addition, GMC is making every effort to monitor articulation agreements (transfers) with four-year institutions to facilitate the transition. These forms list the different classes needed to meet the course requirements for each degree offered. Students admitted to Southwestern receive a curriculum sheet with courses broadcast.
